Cakes by Nina Weddings - Wedding Cake Designer with Transparent Pricing Guide in the UK

At Cakes by Nina Weddings we believe in being completely transparent with our pricing, as that is one of the biggest stresses our couples report to us, having to guess a price really puts couples off from ordering.

Your investment includes far more than the finished cake. It includes expert design advice, meticulous planning, premium ingredients, handcrafted sugar flowers, careful delivery and professional setup, giving you complete peace of mind from beginning to end.

Wedding cakes start from £565. Our average wedding cake investment is around £650, although bespoke designs can vary considerably depending on size, detail and craftsmanship.

We are unique in that we disclose all our prices against each image within our extensive GALLERY just click on any sub category within our Gallery ie Floral scroll down the page and click on any image and full disclosed prices are there along with some other useful information. These prices are updated yearly in-line with inflation and cost of ingredients.

Cakes by Nina Weddings - Delivery and Set-up Service

Our standard rate for delivery is currently £25, this will depend on how far we need to travel, when we travel to London this is now £150 to cover ULEZ and Congestion Charges and how long it actually takes to get in and out of London. To Essex this is £125.00 (two hours away) - We do also offer a collection option but that is at your own risk. Some venues where we are a recommended supplier we do offer this service for free.

How Far in Advance should I book my wedding cake?

Most couples book once their venue and wedding date are confirmed. For peak summer dates, 6-12 months is a sensible guide, although I do sometimes have shorter-notice availability. Booking early simply gives us more time to develop your design and avoids disappointment should your date already be already booked.

Every wedding cake is individually designed and priced according to its size, finish, decoration and level of handcrafted detail. Our wedding collection starts from £565, and every gallery cake displays its individual price so you can browse genuine designs before making an enquiry.

Our pricing is there to guide and inspire, giving you complete transparency while still allowing the flexibility to create your perfect wedding cake.

Do you offer tasting boxes?

Yes - tasting boxes can be ordered here tasting boxes are offered in scheduled batches and are available to couples whether or not they have already booked. The standard tasting box is £30 and contains a curated selection of popular flavours. Bespoke/allergen boxes are available separately as a specialist box at £60.

Can we choose our own flavours?

Yes. Once your wedding cake is booked, you can choose the flavours for your actual cake from the available menu. Standard and Specialist flavours are including according to the quoted design, while selected luxury and dietary flavours carry and additional charge.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

I offer a range of gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free options. I do not offer a completely nut-free cake because nuts are used within my kitchen I cannot guarantee the absence of traces. If your allergy is life-threatening, I cannot safely accept the order.

Do you deliver and set-up the cake?

Yes, I personally deliver and professionally set-up wedding cakes throughout Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, with delivery charged according to location. Some recommended venues include delivery within their suppliers arrangement.

How do I secure my wedding date?

A £100 non-refundable booking fee and completed booking order form are required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due approximately three-four weeks before your wedding, at which point we will send you the final invoice. This amount is deducted from your final balance.

Can you work with Fresh Flowers

Yes. I can work alongside your florist, provided the flowers are confirmed as suitable for use on cakes and prepared appropriately. Responsibility for safety of the flowers remains with the florist and wedding party - please check out our list on fresh flowers to see what flowers are safe to put on cakes.

Do you make Sugar Flowers?

Yes - absolutely we can we specialise in creating exquisite sugar flowers with exceptional attention to detail.

Can you recreate a cake from Pinterest?

We never claim to copy or replicate any other cake designer's cake, but we can use a design for inspiration purposes to create a bespoke design similar in feel but in our own style.

Do you do in person consultations

We no longer do in person consultations, due to many no shows and it was becoming too time consuming, however we do offer a WhatsApp video call or zoom call if you want to chat in person, we can then talk through designs you like, colours, and how many portions you require, after which I can create a bespoke design and quotation for you.

Do you offer dummy tiers?

Yes we do, dummy tiers are available for height or impact and to reduce the costs.

What if we need to postpone our wedding?

We can transfer your booking to your new date subject to availability. If your new date is not available you do loose your non refundable booking fee.

What if we need to cancel our wedding?

Do you supply Wedding Cakes to London?

Yes, for suitable projects. Central London weddings have a minimum order value of £1500 because delivery and professional set-up require substantially more time and planning. Venue access requirements and additional delivery charges may apply depending on location and timing.

Due to traffic conditions within Central London, we require venue access no later than 9:30am to guarantee a smooth and stress-free delivery. If your venue requires a later delivery time, we are often able to accommodate this by prior arrangement; however, an additional delivery charge may apply. This is because later deliveries typically require us to dedicate a vehicle and team for a significantly longer period due to heavy traffic and extended travel times, reducing the number of weddings we are able to accommodate that day.
